After graduating from the University in 1995, I moved to Istanbul and started working for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters as a temporary employed actress. My first TV experience was with Yazlikcilar in 1995 and continued with Bizimkiler , which is Turkey's longest TV series. I had my first movie performance in Ferzan Ozpetek's Hamam (also known as Il Bagno Turco or Turkish Bath) in 1996. In the following years, I built a career mainly on movies and TV series.
